Our goal is to document your wedding day, seeking out the subtle candid moments that, when woven together in a visual form, truly describe the day from beginning to end. Our years of photojournalism experience allow us to easily and skillfully accomplish that task. Add to that our fine art background and you'll end up with stunning images that can stand the test of time.

Freeform Wedding Photographers
The principal photographer of Freeform Weddings is Todd Hougas. Todd has a decade of experience as a photojournalist and has photographed weddings for many years. Wedding photography locations have included: Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and California. Personally, Todd has traveled throughout the United States and Canada, and has spent time in Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Germany, Gibraltar, Sweden, and Morocco.

Jamison Bazinet is the principal second photographer. Jamison also has a decade of experience as a photojournalist. He is presently employed by The Waterbury Republican-American in Waterbury, CT and he has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. For most of the dual photographer weddings, Jamison will be partnered with Todd.

Journalism Experience
Todd has been a staff newspaper photographer, a chief photographer, and a freelance photojournalist. He has had work appear in: Time magazine, People magazine, The Daily News, The New York Post, The Boston Herald, The Boston Globe, The Hartford Courant, Guideposts for Kids, Education Week, The Herald (New Britain, CT), The Portsmouth Herald (Portsmouth, NH), The Hampton Union (Hampton, NH), The Exeter News (Exeter, NH), The York Weekly (York, NH), The Rockingham News (Rockingham, NH), and a host of other national and international newspapers through the Associated Press. He is also a member in good standing of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and has won over 20 awards in contests offered by this organization. Lastly,Todd also is the author and designer of the Freeform Weddings website and his photojournalists' cooperative website Freeformfoto - presently undergoing renovations.

Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA)
Todd is an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) consists of professional photographers that document weddings and events in a candid, natural way. Most of us have developed our skills working for newspaper and/or magazine publications and prefer to work in an unobtrusive way capturing the real moments as they happen.
